Donne breaks a Guinness World Record with 26-hour long concert

On 22nd and 23rd Feb 2024, the Donne Foundation embarked on a mission to break the world record for the Longest Acoustic Music Live-Streamed Concert. After 26 hours 18 minutes and 57 seconds, they reached their goal by playing the music of 140 women and non-binary composers, songwriters and arrangers.

Over the past 6 years, founder and soprano Gabriella Di Laccio has been tireless in her efforts to help bring women and non-binary composers to the fore. Donne's annual reports have helped to evidence how women and non-binary artists have been systemically marginalised, revealing to many the numbers behind this ongoing issue.

Congratulations to Gabriella Di Laccio and all who helped to put this incredible concert together! You can watch full performances from the record-breaking concert on Donne's Youtube channel.
